An Intensive 3-Day Training Course

Workshop on Rotating Equipment: Start-Up, Operations, Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Tutor-Led Class @ NGN150,000.00 per Participant
Online @ NGN120,000.00 Per participant
On-Site to make formal request
Venue: Mechelectric Conference Centres, Ikeja, Abuja, PH and Ota
Date and Time: August 12 - 14, 2025; 0900Hr - 1600Hr Daily

Course Overview
Machines deteriorate and they get older so we can expect a certain amount of performance falloff and general deterioration of the machine.  If we understand the failure mechanism that is in place we can identify which parameters best indicate the deterioration of the machine. This workshop covers root cause analysis (RCA), mode of failure, inspection for buses, bulkers, nozzle, bearing, repair method, oil analysis and relation with vibration analysis.

Course Benefits
By attending this WorkmanSkills training, delegates will be able to:
  • Describe the operation of rotating equipment design aspects, laws, performance comparisons, characteristic curves and performance testing
  • Test rotating equipment performance and apply maintenance and troubleshooting techniques accordingly
  • Identify rotating equipment types and perform maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Determine rotating equipment problems and perform maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Identify rotating equipment, their common problems, and perform troubleshooting techniques
  • Apply the various methods of rotating equipment alignments such as visual, straight edge and feeler gauge, rim and face, reverse dial indication, cross dialing and laser alignment
  • Diagnose soft foot conditions, and apply measurement and correction techniques
